AppLabs is a CLIA accredited clinical laboratory dedicated to providing toxicology, molecular pathology, blood chemistry, and COVID testing. Laboratory testing is our premier service through which we are able to support solo practitioners, small groups, and large organizations alike to improve their overall performance of care. We provide the data needed to effectively diagnose and treat patients.
Using both Immunoassay and LC/MS/MS technology, our tests go through a disciplined process for the highest accuracy rating possible. We have a responsibility to our community to make sure that our tests are accurate while ensuring the process is easy for the physician involved. Results are available with our secure HIPAA-compliant website in an easy-to-read report format.

Toxicology
AppLabs offers comprehensive drug testing and monitoring program with sophisticated testing capabilities and personalized services. Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA) is used to screen for the presence of a drug or metabolite. When positive on the EIA screen, if ordered by the physician, the sample is sent to confirmation for more specific analytical methods.

We utilize the most sophisticated, sensitive, and specific equipment and technology available to screen, confirm and quantitate drugs of abuse with our urine and oral fluids testing that include:

-
Standards Drugs of Abuse Urine Tests
-
Comprehensive Drug Tests
-
ETG/ETS Alcohol Tests
-
Synthetic Cannabinoids Oral & Urine Tests
-
Designer Stimulant Drug Tests

Blood Chemistry
AppLabs offers clinical chemistry services to assist physicians with their patient care. Clinical blood chemistry is generally concerned with the analysis of bodily fluids for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The results are invaluable for a physician to assess a patient's overall health and provide feedback about the effectiveness of treatment.
Molecular
PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is a valuable molecular technique performed in a high-complexity laboratory often used to accurately analyze pathogens’ genetic material.
App Labs utilizes real-time PCR for pathogen identification and the quantification and detection of bacteria, viruses, and antibiotic resistance, including the following:

COVID Urinary Tract Infections STI
Wounds Nail & Fungus

PCR is three to five times more sensitive than conventional culture techniques and allows AppLabs to report results for both pathogen identification and antibiotic resistance within approximately 24-48 hours of the specimen’s lab arrival.
COVID Testing
AppLabs is committed to assisting in the fight against COVID-19 for patients and businesses. We have a highly experienced infectious disease team, including medical, regulatory, operational, and laboratory experts.
We are a CLIA accredited laboratory that uses FDA EUA approved protocols to offer COVID-19 testing utilizing Applied Biosystems TaqPath COVID-19 Combo Assay. This is a highly sensitive multiplex diagnostic solution that provides real-time detection through PCR technology.
Our COVID testing options include:

-
PCR test collects a sample (via nasal swab) to test if you currently have COVID-19
-
Rapid testing is a type of COVID test that is able to be processed on-site in less than one hour
-
Antibody testing analyzes your blood to determine if you've developed antibodies against the COVID virus
